For ongoing therapy at a regular cadence
Check current availability and book the appropriate starting appointment.
For individual therapy, book a 50-minute initial session. For couples therapy, book a 75-minute initial session.
Also reserve four follow-up appointments to secure consistent space in the schedule.
The first appointments are used for assessment, preparation, and treatment planning.
For couples, this includes a joint session, individual sessions with each partner and the Gottman Relationship Checkup.
Together, we clarify your goals and confirm the treatment focus, frequency, and pace.
If another format would better support the work, we adjust the plan.
Begin treatment with a clear plan and appointments already reserved.
We reassess and adjust the pace or structure as needed.
For more focused or immersive treatment
Begin with an intensive consultation regardless of the concentrated format you are considering.
The consultation helps determine fit and identifies the appropriate next assessment appointment.
For individual therapy, we begin with a 100-minute extended session.
For couples, the assessment includes a joint session, individual sessions with each partner, and the Gottman Relationship Checkup.
Together, we confirm the treatment format, priorities, pace, and recommended number of sessions or treatment days.
Once confirmed, reserve the recommended treatment block in advance.
Begin the focused treatment plan with the schedule and structure already in place.
We adjust the pace or format as clinically appropriate.
BOOKING ONE SESSION DOES NOT RESERVE ONGOING APPOINTMENT TIMES.
Follow-up sessions should be booked in advance to maintain continuity. Clients who wait to book subsequent appointments will likely experience a delay in service.
My weekly therapy schedule is often full. New client availability is always reflected on my Jane booking page, with openings becoming available periodically throughout the year.
When weekly openings are limited, EMDR intensives, marathon couples therapy, or concierge therapy may still be available.
I do not routinely maintain a waitlist, though a short-term waitlist may occasionally be offered.
Consultation calls are limited and released on the first of each month.
Please review the website before booking a call. These calls are for brief questions about fit, services, fees, availability, and next steps. They are not therapy and do not include clinical advice.
Outside of scheduled consultation calls, I am not able to respond personally to new client inquiries by email or phone.
*This practice is not an emergency or crisis service. This website, email, and Jane booking are not monitored for urgent concerns. If you need immediate support, contact local emergency services, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact a crisis service available in your area.
Weekly therapy sessions are offered on select weekdays only; evening and weekend appointments are not available.
My Jane booking page reflects current weekly therapy availability only. EMDR intensives, marathon couples therapy, and concierge therapy are scheduled separately and may be available even when no weekly openings are shown.
Current rates are listed by session type on my service pages. Payment is required at the time of service by credit card or e-transfer, and sliding scale rates are not available.
I do not bill insurance or other third-party providers directly. You will receive an electronic receipt to submit for possible reimbursement. Please contact your provider directly to confirm your coverage.
I offer both in-person and virtual therapy. You must be physically located in British Columbia or the Yukon at the time of your session.
For virtual couples therapy, both partners must be together in the same room and join from one shared device.
Clients who live elsewhere may travel to British Columbia for an intensive.
Regular appointments require at least two business days’ notice by email to avoid being charged. Extended and intensive appointments require two weeks’ notice.
I work with adults and couples. I do not work with children or youth.
My practice focuses on therapy rather than standalone psychological assessments, formal diagnoses, reports, or letters requested solely for documentation purposes.
